Atlanta-based indie electro-fuzz-rock quartet Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun have been on the road full-time since 2009. In that time, they’ve polished both their live show and their ability to pack out a dance floor. Lead singer Lauren Gibson delivers her lyrics like a more swaggering, sensual Emily Haines (Metric) over the fuzzed-out guitars and ethereal synths of her compatriots. jukebox the ghost music menu

at creative loafing charlotte.

Philadelphia’s Jukebox the Ghost has been touring nonstop since the band’s 2010 release, Everything Under the Sun. The schedule has been so rigorous, in fact, that vocalist Tommy Siegel underwent vocal surgery. With another album of sunny pop on the way this summer, they’re making their way around the country, turning their experiences on the road into what they call “more thoughtful and personal” new tunes.
